Your privacy is fundamental to Quit Reels & Shorts. We designed our application from the ground up to respect your attention and your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle information in connection with our iOS application.

1. Privacy-By-Design Architecture

Quit Reels & Shorts operates locally on your Apple device using Apple's official Screen Time, Family Controls, and DeviceActivity frameworks. We do not operate analytics servers, tracking servers, or advertising networks.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Browsing History: We cannot see, track, or record the websites you visit or the videos you watch.
  • No App Selection Content: The apps and categories you select to shield stay encrypted on your device via iOS system frameworks.
  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or social media handles.
  • No Location Data: We do not request or access your physical location.

3. Local Device Storage

The application saves preferences (such as custom protection schedules, temporary focus preferences, and local free-access timers) locally on your iPhone using UserDefaults and Apple App Group containers (group.com.quitreels.shorts). This data never leaves your device.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

All in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed directly and securely through Apple's official In-App Purchase system and your Apple ID account. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment card details, Apple ID login credentials, or billing addresses.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted off-device, parents can safely configure Quit Reels & Shorts on family devices.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
